5 to the bar ist ein Jazz-Duo aus dem Rheinland. Markus Morczinietz (Piano) und Michael Jablonski (Saxophon) haben ein  abwechslungsreiches Repertoire von Swing über Funk, Latin und Soul bis zu gefühlvollen Balladen. Im Programm sind bekannte Standards, aber auch weniger bekannte Funk-Stücke und Eigenkompositionen.
